I just had the AUTOMATED PHONE CALL FROM HELL!
Here's how it played out:
*phone rings*
Our Hero: Hello?
PhoneSpammer3000: *silence*
OH: Hello??
PS3000: Hello.
*fifteen second pause*
PS3000: We are calling *pause* to verify *pause* that your *pause* Hamilton Spectator service *pause* that either started or restarted *pause* today is correct.
PS3000: In order to help you better *pause* please press 1 *pause* now.
OH: Hell no! *click*
It may be a small victory against automated phone spam, but I savor the small victories!
