Re:

They didn't have an option for dual processors on that model :(

but they had the RAID card :D

From: [identity profile] auslander.livejournal.com

bah. it's only a promise. you want a raid-5 3ware card something

or better yet, raid-5 scsi. raid 0 and 1 are insufficient.

Re:

hehe! I'm glad I made you my spirtual computer adviser! You won't let me get cheap crap :)

From: [identity profile] auslander.livejournal.com

without dual (or quad!) processors and raid 5 scsi, you are but ricing a civic.

get the lambourghini.

you know you want to.

oh, and more ram. and fuck microsoft rodents. logitech all the way.

Re:

They have no logitech :-/

no logitech?!? they suck then.

and does the "Nexland Pro800Turbo Router/Firewall" support the gig ethernet card?

who the hell are they anyway? never heard of them. get Cisco instead. :-)

Re:

Alienware makes gaming rigs, mostly.

I dunno if that router supports gig eth... good question!

Mmm... Gig eth...

hehe. they should have logitech then.

also, you have a 6.1 sound card, but only 5.1 speakers. the speakers are not l33t enough.

Re:

This is true. In real life, i would never touch another Creative Labs card again. I would much rather go with Turtle Beach or someone who doesn't fuck up the drivers every other hour...

and those Klipsch speakers are niiiiiiice... THX Certified!

Heheh, I love Alienware. I actually have a friend who is planning to buy Alienware over the summer, though what he plans to get is slightly cheaper than that (as in he is getting something that is approximately 1/5th as expensive). I personally say just build it yourself and save some money.

Re:

Oh, I always build my computers... I just love visiting Dell and Alienware to see how rediculously expensive I can get computers up to ;)

and its not everywhere where you can order 2 30" LCD monitors ;)

There is always

VoodooPC.com

AlienWare rocks, but who else has a full time Origami expert on staff to fold cables out of sight out of mind.

Re: There is always

I'm going to visit voodoopc.com now, since I've never checked out one of their systems.

They are Canadian, right?
